Lawrence M. Riefberg
Lawrence M. Riefberg was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 1982. A native of Danbury, attorney Riefberg graduated from Tufts University and the University of Connecticut School of Law. He has served as a State Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Fairfield County Association of Realtors. He is an Incorporator for the Savings Bank of Danbury and is a member of the Public Policy Committee for the Employee Relocation Council. He resides in Danbury with his wife and children.
Attorney Riefberg concentrates his practice in real property law with an emphasis on short-sales, loan modifications, foreclosure and corporate relocation transactions.
Steven R. Smart
Managing Partner of Litigation
Steven R. Smart was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 1982. He was admitted to the DC Bar in 1983. Attorney Smart graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia and the American University College of Law. Raised in Danbury, he resides in Brookfield with his wife and children.
Attorney Smart is the managing partner of the firm’s litigation department with experience in both criminal & civil trial practice as well as motor vehicle disputes.
Christopher T. Donohue
Managing Partner – Probate, Estate and Business
Christopher T. Donohue was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 1982. Attorney Donohue graduated magna cum laude
and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Connecticut as well as the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is a former chairperson of the State of Connecticut Ethics Commission. Raised in Avon, he resides in Newtown with his wife and children.
Attorney Donohue’s diverse practice includes trusts, wills and probate, land use planning, business matters and commercial real estate transactions.
Karin A. NeJame
Managing Partner – Real Estate Department
Karin A. NeJame was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 1981. Attorney NeJame is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University and Western New England College of Law. She has been a State of Connecticut Judicial Department Fact Finder Arbitrator and Referee as well as a past member of the State of Connecticut Judicial Selection Committee. She resides in Bethel with her husband.
Attorney NeJame concentrates on real property law, representing purchasers, sellers and lenders throughout the state of Connecticut.
Joseph J. Taborsak
Joseph J. Taborsak was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 2003. Attorney Taborsak is a graduate of Northeastern University and the Pace University School of Law. He practices in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, disability law, workers compensation, landlord tenant matters and real estate law.
Loretta Ford Glazier
Loretta Ford Glazier was admitted to practice law in the state of Connecticut in 1987. Attorney Glazier is a graduate of Quinnipiac College (magna cum laude) and Western New England College School of Law. Raised in West Haven, she resides in Seymour with her husband and daughters.
Attorney Glazier's practice includes residential real estate transactions and probate matters, including conservatorships and guardianships of the intellectually disabled.
